Video: What is Meditation & How to Meditate (EASY!)

Hi Friends!!!

I hope you are having an absolutely fantastic day! If you want to balance all the stuff you do each day with some time to meditate, here’s the video for you. There are many different ways to meditate, but at it’s essential level, meditation is time to do absolutely nothing. No lists, no carpooling, no cooking, no cleaning…doesn’t that sound great? You deserve time each day to rest, and when you take that time, you will be amazed at all the brilliant ideas you are able to come up with (even more than usual) because your mind and body feel relaxed and in-the-moment. In this video, I talk about basic meditation. There are also guided meditations and info about meditating in the meditation section of my website (go figure!).

I hope you enjoy this video and share with everyone you know who could use some more peace in their life. Wouldn’t that be great? You could especially send it to all the people who get on your nerves as a subtle way to say, “Maybe you should take time to chill out.” Just a suggestion :) Ha!

Lots of Love,

Melanie Jade :D

P.S. By the way, I thought my mic was hidden in the video until I went to edit and saw it, big black ball on my shirt. Oh well.

Great tips, Melanie! It is re-inspiring me to sit today and really make more of an effort. I meditate every day, but sometimes I kinda get sloppy about it, if that makes sense. I just listen to the monkey mind and stop trying to focus on the now. So gotta tighten it up! :)

Magical indeed, the simplicity of the way you present powerful tools like meditation. Meditation IS simple, unless we go dragging a bunch of expectations into it.

For a few years now, I’ve used the Centerpointe materials that I describe as Meditation for Dummies because the tones embedded in the recordings will move me out of busy Beta brain waves and into the more meditative states whether I cooperate or not.  :)

The guided meditations you offer are another way of sneaking some blissful moments of BE-ing past the chattering mind. Great resources!
